Open source software to collaborate on code

• Manage Git repositories with fine-grained access controls that keep your code secure.
• Perform code reviews and enhance collaboration with merge requests.
• Each project can also have an issue tracker and a wiki.

Login:

• if you are working at the Department of Informatics Systems (ISYS) or you are another invited user of AAU, please login with your ZID/AAU Account (the username only).
• use the standard login if you are an invited external user.

Usage:

• you don't know Git yet, it's workflow and commands? Then check this [introduction] (https://rogerdudler.github.io/git-guide/)
• another introduction into Git and GitLab is available in the help section
• use HTTPS as transfer protocol (e.g. git clone https://git-isys.aau.at/<your_project>). Because of technical restrictions we do not support SSH
• you wonder how to pronounce Git correctly?

Notes:

• if you have problems cloning a project via Eclise IDE there might be a problem with the verification of the certificate. Check the solution described at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18813847/eclipse-cannot-open-git-upload-pack
